Well-known as the favorite named apple of Henry David Thoreau, this blue beauty is a sweet, crisp, apple with distinct concord grape flavor notes. The apples have slight, but gorgeous russeting that compliments the blue wax bloom beautifully. Best for eating fresh, ripens late, keeps well, and makes a good addition to a hard cider blend.
